I left my bike and all my gears back in Perth. To begin my ordeal, I borrowed my bro's "road bike" helmet, my sister's riding Glove, GIANT XTC bike and Camel hydration backpack. I then rush to Waterloo St to buy a new pair of cycing shoes (i cant ride without cleats) just for this Sunday's ride....hahaha. On the day of cycling, i was warmly greeted by familiar sights, an old MTB bunch of riders which I cycled regularly with during last year.  It was a big group of 30's odd regular hardcored, off-road MTB riders turning up for the ride. Well, need not mention that my stamina and standards had declined substantially.
